Multi-Skilled Joiner – Full Time – Rochdale (Greater Manchester)
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our responsive repairs team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across our housing stock, ensuring tenants receive a first-class service. Immediate start available.
What’s on offer?
1. Rate of pay: £20-£23 per hour (Umbrella)
2. Contract length: Minimum 3 months
3. Hours: Full time, hours per week (Monday – Friday)
4. Work pattern: On-site, working across responsive repairs and maintenance jobs
5. Start date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
6. Carry out joinery repairs and maintenance within tenanted properties
7. Undertake a wide range of responsive repair tasks including doors, skirting, flooring, and kitchen units
8. Deliver multi-trade works where required, such as basic plumbing or patch plastering
9. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with health and safety regulations
10. Maintain excellent tenant communication and customer service throughout all jobs
11. Accurately record completed works and report on progress to supervisors
About you
12. Time-served Joiner with proven experience in responsive repairs
13. NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery is required
14. Multi-trade skills (plumbing, plastering, tiling, etc.)
15. Full UK Driving Licence (company van is provided)
16. Strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
17. Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to adapt to different repair tasks
