Mechanical Fitter - Knutsford £30,000+ DOE
Working Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday to Friday

A leading manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role involves the breakdown, assembly, testing, and commissioning of capital machinery. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

Role Responsibilities
* Assist the production team in building machinery to specifications
* Strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations
* Ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently
* Collaborate with design and technical teams on build issues to produce a high-quality product
* Participate in continuous improvement and standardization projects
* Work on customer sites abroad, assisting with assembly, testing, and commissioning of machinery
Skills and Qualifications
* Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
* Experience with mechanical engineering processes in assembly and fitting
* Strong experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
* Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
* Experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous
