We’re now looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our expert team in Whitland.
The Role
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor at Steer Whitland, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate repair assessments, driving efficiency throughout the repair process, and supporting excellent customer service from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
14. Accurately assess vehicle damage and compile repair estimates using Audatex or similar systems
15. Liaise effectively with insurers, customers, and the workshop team to manage repair approvals and timelines
16. Ensure all assessments comply with industry and manufacturer standards
17. Support the delivery of KPIs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
18. Uphold Steer’s commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
19. Qualified VDA (ATA or NVQ Level 3 preferred)
20. Proven experience using Audatex or equivalent estimating platforms
21. Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods and insurance processes
22. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills
23. A customer-focused mindset and a team-first attitude
