Job Type: Permanent - £23,000 per annum + £1,000 joining bonus
Sector: Education and Training - Guildford
This SEN Behaviour Analyst position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in teaching children with Special Educational Needs. The role is based in Guildford at a school for children aged 4-19 with autism, graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. You will have access to funded training and qualification opportunities in SEN education, gaining diverse experience with children of varying ages and abilities. The school employs behaviour-driven teaching strategies and interventions to promote positive outcomes and student development. You will work in small classes, both individually and in groups. As a SEN Behaviour Analyst, you will design, plan, and deliver teaching sessions aimed at enhancing pupils' learning, social, and emotional development.
What do current employees say?
"This is not like any mainstream school, and probably not like many SEN schools... It may seem overwhelming at first, but it becomes second nature! The Applied Behaviour Analysis helps you understand pupil behaviours better and develop ways to support their happiness and achievement. The staff are very supportive. There are numerous opportunities for learning and progression, whether through further study or career advancement. I recently became the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Senior Mental Health Lead for pupils, and completed a Mental Health Responder course to support staff as a Mental Health First Aider. While challenging and tiring at times, it is incredibly rewarding to see pupils achieve even small milestones." - Billie
