Job Title: Executive Communications Manager

Job Description
SRG is seeking an Executive Communications Manager to join a global agrochemical company based in Manchester. The role focuses on enhancing and protecting the company’s reputation as a leader in Crop Protection through strategic internal and external communications for the President of the Crop Protection Business Unit (BU).
Responsibilities
1. Support the Communications Business Partner to the CP President in managing strategic projects, including executive positioning at trade shows, media events, social media, townhalls, and quarterly financial reporting.
2. Assist in the rollout and engagement of the company’s refreshed business strategy.
3. Develop strategic messages and narratives to position the CP BU internally and externally.
4. Create executive presentations, letters, video messages, social media posts, briefings, and other communication materials for internal and external audiences.
5. Gather and analyze relevant information to craft clear, concise, and impactful messages for diverse stakeholder groups.
6. Convert business topics into engaging content using various channels such as presentations, articles, videos, infographics, and social media.
7. Coordinate with international, cross-functional teams to align communication strategies around initiatives and events.
8. Support other members of the wider communications team on key projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or in a public relations agency.
2. Experience handling confidential information prior to publication.
3. University degree in communications, journalism, public affairs, marketing, or a related field.
4. Strong strategic and tactical thinking skills.
5. Creativity and ability to translate scientific and business topics into compelling communications.
6. Excellent networking and communication skills.
7. Empathetic, open-minded, and team-oriented personality.
8. Flexible, adaptable, and quality-focused working style.
9. Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
10. Knowledge of the agriculture industry is a plus, but not required.
