The School of Psychology at Newcastle University is offering an opportunity to lead and direct the School’s clinical programmes. The post encompass (i) the director role of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) programme and (ii) management of two further postgraduate clinical programmes (the Low Intensity and postgraduate diploma in CBT programmes). The post holder will also be supported to establish a research/scholarship portfolio to enhance the research profile of the School.
The DClinPsy programme is accredited by both the BABCP and AFT for its specialist therapy pathways, and the CBT diploma is BABCP accredited. The post holder will liaise with colleagues within the NHS, university and across other UK DClinPsy and psychological profession training programmes as required.
