Deputy Nursery Manager (Level 3+) – Up to £40,000
This nursery, rated Good by Ofsted, provides high-quality early years care in a well-equipped environment, including a sensory room, forest school, and beautiful outdoor play areas. As Deputy Nursery Manager you will support the Nursery Manager in daily operations, lead a team, and remain hands-on with children to maintain high standards of practice.
Before You Apply
* Applicants must have previous experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or equivalent senior nursery role.
* A full Level 3 early years qualification or above is required.
* This role is not suitable for candidates without experience leading staff or managing nursery operations.

What You'll Need
* Level 3 (or above) early years qualification
* Previous experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or in a senior nursery role
* Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Commitment to hands-on childcare while managing staff
What You'll Do
* Assist the Nursery Manager in running daily operations and staff supervision
* Lead and coach staff to maintain high-quality EYFS practice
* Remain actively involved in caring for and educating children
* Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are consistently met
* Contribute to planning, monitoring, and reporting on learning and development
* Support smooth communication with parents and external stakeholders
