Description SENIOR STOCK CONTROLLER Full-Time | Immediate Start Available Any 5 days out of 7 £27,000 Annual Salary plus Overtime Rates & Shift Premium We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Stock Controller to lead and support stock operations across our site. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting customer service, and stepping into leadership responsibilities when required. Key Responsibilities All duties and responsibilities below require proficiency with the daily use of Manhattan/Scale and Microsoft packages (Excel/Outlook). Own and optimise the physical layout and profiling of stock to ensure efficient space utilisation and accessibility. Maintain and manage item master data with precision, ensuring system accuracy and consistency. Produce and analyse stock reports using advanced Excel functions, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups, to support operational decisions and continuous improvement. Deliver high-quality service to internal and external customers, resolving stock-related queries promptly and professionally. Take a hands-on role in stock control activities, including cycle counts, investigations, and adjustments. Lead and support stock teams in the absence of Stock & Systems Coordinators, ensuring continuity and performance. Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Operate a scissor lift safely. Candidates must hold a valid licence or be willing to undertake training. You may be asked, at times, to support the Inbound/Outbound functions (holiday cover, sickness absence etc.) Please note that the above list is not exhaustive, and you may be assigned other tasks by your Stock & Systems Coordinators/Manager as and when required. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to lead and motivate teams. Experience with warehouse management systems and reporting tools. Flexible, adaptable, and resilient under pressure. Scissor lift licence (preferred) or willingness to be trained.
