Overview
We are looking for a Full Time Coffee Shop Manager to join our team in the Coffee Shop in Weaver Vale Garden Centre.
Compensation & Hours
Our competitive salary is dependent on experience.
The hours for this role are 45 per week over 5 days. All positions include regular weekend working so flexibility is a must. We have the added benefit of no evening work and no split shifts. Our Centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day which means time with the family on these important days.
The Role
As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Coffee Shop team and serving our fabulous food with outstanding service and personality.
Responsibilities
* Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to our company standards
* Present menus, serve, and help customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions
* Provide counter service and prepare beverages including our barista bean-to-cup Illy coffee
* Deliver our inhouse prepared meals to customers at their tables
* Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness
* Process payments at electronic till points
* Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed
* Close front of house areas each day to our company standards
Qualifications
* Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
* Barista experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Great teamwork

* The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
