They cover a number of sectors including commercial and residential development, education, healthcare, public works, and marine & coastal engineering. They are looking to strengthen the team with a senior quantity surveyor. The role offers good scope for progression, coupled with a supportive working environment. DUTIES: • Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works for pricing. • Preparing and sending out of Sub-contract enquires. • Subcontract comparison and preparation of subcontract agreements. • Attending, contributing to and taking minutes of meetings as required. • Preparing Valuations with Client’s, agreeing amounts for payment and ensuring invoices are prepared and issued. • Re-measuring work using site measurement and measurement from drawings. • Re-measurement of subcontract applications and processing subcontract payments. • Informing Sub-Contractors of Contract variations. • Valuing variations. • Assisting with reporting on Contract Performance via monthly cost/value reconciliations and • Agreeing Client and Sub-Contract Final Accounts. • Monitoring site costs on a weekly basis providing feedback to construction team as required. • To ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s ...
