Are you a strategic thinker with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for driving meaningful change?
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Strategy and Research Business Partner to join our supportive and forward-thinking team on a permanent basis.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of creating and embedding our corporate and supporting strategies, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to influence strategic decision-making, ensuring our priorities are evidence-based, future-focused, and grounded in business need. You’ll support strategic planning sessions, facilitate workshops, and translate our Corporate Strategy and supporting strategies into clear, relatable goals that resonate across the organisation, helping colleagues at every level understand how their work contributes to the bigger picture.
Bringing together data, research, engagement feedback and emerging insights, you’ll develop compelling strategic proposals that guide both high-level planning and everyday decisions. You’ll also lead on strategy governance, horizon scanning and - ensuring we keep abreast of emerging insights and continue to connect the dots.
As a highly credible and consultative partner to senior leaders, you’ll have the confidence and interpersonal skills to coach, negotiate, challenge and influence at all levels of the organisation.

Some of the things we are looking for:
Experience of working as a credible and trusted partner to senior leadership teams
Experience of working in a similar role, involving strategy, research, reporting, and policies
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience of engaging and consulting with senior leaders, managers, and other stakeholders
Experience of developing strategy and action plans aligned to organisational direction and business requirements
Experience of working in an analytical capacity, or demonstrates analytical, systematic thinking
Experience of working on multiple projects at a time and planning effectively
Excellent MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required (approximately twice a month). Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
