Offer description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered, ready for delivery, or providing suitable substitutions when products are out of stock.
2. Using a handset to plan your route around the store, including selecting items and managing time to complete each shop.
3. Handling customer queries, processing orders, and assisting with loading vans for Home Delivery Drivers.
4. Providing excellent customer service by supporting customers with their questions and proactively offering assistance.
5. Building knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to make effective recommendations.
6. Working flexibly across the store as required.


Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

* Willingness to start early (most shifts begin at 4am) and work in a fast-paced, physical, and energetic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
* Friendly, welcoming, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
* Ability to use initiative, solve problems, and take responsibility for tasks.
* Flexible and productive, with a willingness to learn new skills and use digital tools.
* Comfortable moving shopping containers weighing up to 15kg.
* Attention to detail, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the store.
* Age requirements: above school-leaver age; at least 18 if working hours start before 6am or after 11pm.
* Right to Work in the UK.
