CARE COORDINATOR
Full-Time | Office-Based | Windsor | £27,000–£28,000 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator, based in Windsor. In this vital role, you will support care management and the wider care team, enabling them to deliver exceptional care and improve the lives of our clients—making them safer, happier, and more independent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. First Point of Contact
* Handle queries and enquiries from staff, clients, and other healthcare professionals via phone, email, and care management systems.
2. Staff Rota Management
* Ensure continuity and consistency in care delivery
* Match staff to clients effectively
* Manage contracted hours and visit schedules
* Monitor travel time and visit cost-effectiveness
* Review clock-in data and approve timesheets accurately
* Manage staff availability, including holidays and sickness
3. Staff Management
* Monitor and maintain staff compliance (including spot checks and supervisions)
* Organise regular team meetings
* Identify and address training gaps in collaboration with training providers
* Act as a mentor and first point of support for the care team
4. Recruitment & Onboarding
* Oversee the full recruitment cycle: identifying needs, advertising, interviewing, inducting, and onboarding new staff
5. Staff Training
* Coordinate induction training including the Care Certificate and practical sessions
* Plan and monitor annual refresher training
6. Care Visit Support
* Attend care visits when necessary or in emergencies
7. Operational Support
* Assist with ordering medication and liaising with healthcare professionals
8. On-Call Duties
* Share participation in the on-call rota with the Registered Care Manager

Qualifications & Experience:
* Certificate of Higher Education (A Levels) – preferred
* Level 3 Health & Social Care – preferred
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in scheduling or care coordination – preferred
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car – required
Salary & Benefits:
* £27,000 – £28,000 per annum

* Office hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30
* Participation in on-call rota
* Occasional out-of-hours spot checks, visits, and assessments
