We are currently seeking a part-time permanent school cleaner, based in Kendal.
Schedule & details:
* Hours: 12.5 hours per week
* Schedule: Monday to Friday 1pm - 3:15pm (term time only)
* Salary: FTE Pro rata £26,208 £12.6 per hour
* Contract: Permanent
* Start date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitisation at a local school.
* Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including but not limited to hoovering, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
* Clean and sanitize class rooms and toilets.
* Dispose of rubbish and recyclables.
* Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and consumables as needed.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
* Collaborate with team members and management to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.

Requirements:
* Prior experience of working in an organised and methodical way
* Prior experience of working as a cleaner is desirable
* Prior experience / awareness of working with cleaning products and appropriate handling procedures is desirable
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
