Duties as a Van Service Technician will include:
9. Conduct detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vans to high standards
10. Follow manufacturer repair procedures and job cards
11. Remove and refit parts across various vehicle brands efficiently
12. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with problem-solving skills
13. Perform safety checks and mechanical inspections on newly arrived vehicles
14. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
15. Complete all repair work within specified times and quality standards
16. Support team members and contribute to a productive work environment
Requirements that the LCV Technician will need:
17. Proven experience as a Van Service Technician or similar role
18. Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills
19. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
20. A valid MOT Tester’s qualification (Class 4/5/7), or a willingness to undergo training.
21. Excellent communication and customer service skills
22. Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environments and changing priorities
23. Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
24. Willingness to undertake MOT testing qualification if not already qualified
25. Flexibility to work early or late shifts as required
