KHR are partnered with one of East Kent’s leading legal practices; who have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join their well-established firm known for its excellent client relationships and local market leadership.
This role is ideal for someone with significant expertise in commercial conveyancing who is seeking a role within a progressive and client-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Lawyer:
– Drafting and negotiating contracts contingent on planning approvals
– Handling sales and acquisitions of property
– Managing asset transactions, both sales and purchases
– Overseeing overage agreements and option contracts
– Facilitating commercial lending processes
– Managing leases, including granting and assignment
– Running day-to-day transactions independently while supporting the team with property development cases
– Representing a range of clients, including developers, occupiers, high-net-worth individuals, retailers, lenders, and borrowers
– Expanding and enhancing the firm’s commercial client services
Candidate Profile
– Qualified solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or licensed conveyancer with substantial experience in commercial property law
– Demonstrable expertise in handling complex and high-value property transactions
– Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
– Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, ensuring attention to detail and excellent client care
– Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
