Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist, located in Burnley. The pharmacist will work closely with patients to deliver medically supervised weight loss programs, including prescribing weight loss medications, offering expert health advice, and supporting clients throughout their journey. Primary responsibilities include conducting health assessments, managing treatment plans, providing medication education, and ensuring outstanding patient care in accordance with regulatory and clinical guidelines.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Independent Prescribing and a valid pharmacist registration with the relevant regulatory authority
* Strong clinical knowledge of weight management, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions
* Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and medication management
* Exceptional communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills to build trust and provide compassionate care
* Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a clinical environment, maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance
