Job Description
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday)
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 plus MJ Quinn vehicle
Here at MJ Quinn, we have an exciting opportunity for a Civils Assessor to join our team. This role is field-based, covering the Midlands region.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting health and safety inductions for both general and project-specific purposes.
* Ensuring engineers maintain compliance by renewing expiring or expired accreditations.
* Providing tailored training for engineers and subcontractors on various contracts.
* Offering guidance on environmental awareness, safety procedures, and policies.
* Delivering training across safety and craft modules, ensuring compliance with MJ Quinn, awarding bodies, and client standards.
* Supporting engineers in maintaining professional presentation standards and seeking guidance when needed.
* Gaining accreditation to deliver additional craft modules aligned with the company's development plan.
* Supporting colleagues' development through assessor qualifications and training.
* Providing tablet/device training as required.
* Building strong relationships with trainees and supporting their development.
* Supporting other regions as needed based on business requirements.
* Maintaining accurate attendance and assessment records and liaising with relevant departments for administration and pay purposes.
* Facilitating the completion of necessary documentation and raising issues promptly.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
* Teaching or coaching qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
* Experience in coaching or teaching within the construction or civils industry.
* Experience working on underground telecommunication networks, including civils and cabling.
* On-site experience with methodologies and network build approaches.
* Knowledge of constructing underground chambers and erecting communication cabinets.
* Understanding of the BT network.
* Experience with duct laying, core drilling, and slewing.
Preferred Experience:
* Previous experience in assessing or teaching within the civils industry.
* Teaching qualifications/support/training experience are advantageous.
