Join our team at Terex as an HSE Advisor and contribute to our Ballymoney team. You will partner with management to foster a safety-first culture and drive our Zero Harm goal, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while improving safety performance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with local Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and company policies.
2. Report HSE Performance KPIs, monitor environmental metrics.
3. Lead HSE Steering meetings and Safety Committees.
4. Assist in Claims management processes.
5. Review HSE Risk Assessments, Policies, and Procedures regularly.
6. Support HSE and continuous improvement projects.
7. Conduct accident/incident investigations and support other investigations.
8. Work with regulatory agencies, insurance, and occupational health providers.
9. Identify HSE training needs and deliver training as necessary.
10. Collaborate with site teams to implement HSE improvement plans and ensure a safe working environment.
11. Coordinate safety for contractors and visitors.
12. Support HSE budget management, including processing purchase orders and resolving invoice queries.
13. Consult with leadership teams on HSE matters.
14. Perform other reasonable duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
* NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar (candidates working towards qualification are also considered).
* Experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of current HSE legislation.
* Good understanding of risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and Display Screen Equipment.
Desirable (not essential):
* Experience in manufacturing environments.
* NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate.
* NEBOSH Environment Certificate or similar.
* NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Well-being at Work.
* Train the Trainer Certificate.
* Knowledge of PPC Regulations and UK Packaging Regulations.
