Our client is currently recruiting for the position of HR Coordinator, based in Portlethen. This role is initially a 6-month contract with the expectation of becoming permanent.


Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain good relationships with managers and employees to deliver a professional, confidential, and value-added HR service.
2. Verify and process data in the HRIS and other business systems; coordinate employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, absence management, system notifications, approvals, and offboarding, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
3. Assist with onshore recruitment activities, including screening applications, arranging interviews, preparing offers, and managing routine documentation and engagement of new employees.
4. Support the Lead HR Business Partner with the Training/Learning Management System (LMS) project by providing accurate data to the vendor.
5. Manage onshore and offshore mandatory training bookings, upload course certifications, and maintain training records and matrices.
6. Arrange training accommodations where applicable.
7. Conduct regular audits of training matrices.
8. Coordinate in-house training activities.
9. Arrange and track onshore OEUK Medicals and Occupational Health Referrals through external providers, maintaining certification records.
10. Support activities related to the annual HR cycle, including performance management and compensation and benefits processes.
11. Administer employee benefit schemes in collaboration with benefits brokers, ensuring employee details are current in the portals.
12. Assist with onshore payroll processes to meet deadlines.
13. Prepare and distribute employee communications and letters.
14. Respond to general HR queries and provide information on policies, procedures, benefits, and systems.
15. Compile regular HR, training, and ad-hoc reports.
16. Participate in HR projects and execute assigned activities.
17. Provide HR support to the emergency response team, including coordination and participation in on-call duties.


Specific Requirements:

1. Demonstrable experience as an HR Coordinator or Administrator in a similar environment.
2. Experience in coordinating offshore training is essential.
3. Proficiency with HRIS systems.
4. Good working knowledge of MS Office suite.
5. HNC/HND in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent; CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable.
