Clerk to the Governors
Hours of work: 5.2 hours per week (part‑time). This position is pro‑rata based on hours worked.
The purpose of this role is to support the Meridian Community Primary School governing board. The incumbent will manage efficient administration, maintain accurate records, minute governing and committee meetings, and research policies and procedures necessary for the board.
Key Responsibilities
* Take accurate minutes and maintain efficient record‑keeping systems for governing board meetings and any convened panels.
* Prepare agendas and service meetings.
* Work independently, using initiative to research policies, procedures and other information supporting the board.
* Attend meetings at times convenient to the board, including evening sessions.
Required Skills and Experience
* Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
* Ability and willingness to work independently.
* Experience in writing agendas and servicing meetings.
* Availability for evening meetings to support the governing board.
