The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a growing international group, supporting multiple trading entities across the UK and overseas. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely management information and ensuring strong financial control across the business.
The Role
7. Ownership of month-end close processes
8. Preparation of monthly group management accounts
9. Production of departmental profit and loss accounts
10. Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
11. Cost, stock and duty/freight analysis
12. Maintenance of fixed asset registers
13. Support with budgeting and year-end audit processes
14. Intercompany accounting and cross-charges
Suppliers & Treasury
15. End-to-end accounts payable processes, including payment runs and reconciliations
16. Management of aged creditor reporting and expense claims (SAP Concur)
17. Cashflow forecasting across multiple currencies
18. Foreign exchange contract maintenance and bank reconciliations
Stakeholder Engagement
19. Working closely with senior stakeholders and department heads
20. Liaising with suppliers, customers and external partners
