Within our Corporate Finance team located in the United Kingdom (role based in Northern Ireland, Wales, or England), Leprino is seeking a Director, Finance to elevate our organization to new heights of operational excellence and growth! Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the CFO equivalent for Leprino Europe, overseeing all financial leadership and collaborating closely with operational and commercial teams.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships across the leadership team, supporting all business functions.
3. Lead financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, compliance, and treasury management.
4. Develop monthly management accounts, financial analysis, variance reports, and insights for decision-making.
5. Deliver annual business and strategic plan financial models aligned with commercial objectives.
6. Guide financial governance activities such as statutory accounts, tax filings, cash management, foreign exchange, and risk management.
7. Partner with operational and commercial teams on customer negotiations, product pricing, and profitability reviews.
8. Manage reporting routines, including financial packs and KPIs.
9. Lead cashflow forecasting and manage working capital effectively.
10. Collaborate with US leadership to align reporting standards.
11. Engage regularly with UK sites in Northwich and Llangefni, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
12. Promote transparency, accountability, and progress in line with corporate values.
Reporting Structure
* Reports to the CEO & General Manager of Leprino Europe.
* Direct reports include the Head of Financial Control and the Head of Finance Projects & FP&A.
Minimum Qualifications
* Senior finance leadership experience, including P&L, reporting, and budgeting.
* Success in complex, multi-site environments.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues.
* Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
* Experience in dairy, food manufacturing, or beverage industries.
* Background supporting European or multinational operations.
* Knowledge of cross-border financial compliance and governance.
