Hours: 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends
On-Call Requirement: One night per week
Salary: Competitive – Based on experience

Overview:
Acklams Coaches is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and organised individual to join our operations team as a Coach Operations Administrator & Support. This is a varied role supporting both the operational and financial aspects of the business. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, accurate bookings, and administrative efficiency across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach Operations & Administration:
* Coordinate and detail coach bookings in liaison with clients and internal teams.
* Provide administrative support to the coach scheduling and driver operations team.
* Prepare and distribute driver documentation.
Finance & Invoicing:
* Generate customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
* Handle credit control, including following up on outstanding payments.
* Assist with reconciliation and other basic financial administration as required.
Customer Service:
* Liaise with clients to confirm bookings and respond to queries or amendments.
* Provide professional and courteous customer service by phone, email, and in-person.
On-Call Duties:
* Be on call one night per week to assist with operational queries or urgent issues that may arise outside of office hours.
Key Skills & Attributes:
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication
* Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Experience in an administrative, operational, or customer service environment (transport industry experience is a bonus)
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach
