Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Waking Night Support Workers to join our incredible team in Omagh.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives.
What we're looking for:
* Caring, patient, and genuinely passionate about supporting others.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
* Supporting people with their finances (paying bills, shopping, etc.).
* Supporting with personal care, including helping people get ready for the day, prompting medication, and assisting with bathing, showering, and bathroom needs.
* Using Positive Behaviour Support Strategies to improve quality of life, provide trauma-informed support, and manage emotionally intense situations.
All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life!
* Nights from 9pm - 9am
*All roles are subject to an enhanced disclosure check (Access NI Code of Practice and Policy on Rehabilitation of Offenders available on request), registration with NISCC, and suitable references.
