Real Estate Solicitor (Senior/Principal Associate) | 4+/8+ PQE | National Law Firm | Multiple Locations (Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Sheffield, Leeds)
Positions are available across multiple locations, including Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Sheffield, Leeds, and Birmingham. This role is offered on a permanent basis, with full‑time or part‑time (4 days a week) options and flexible, hybrid working arrangements. The Role
* Advise a broad range of national clients across various sectors – hospitality, leisure, retail, and entertainment, covering pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, and more.
* Handle freehold and leasehold site acquisitions and disposals, development projects, pre‑let arrangements and portfolio re‑gears.
* Oversee day‑to‑day estate management matters, including leases, licences, variations, easements and related agreements.
* Gain exposure to operator‑specific issues such as TUPE, TOGC, capital allowances and licensing/ regulatory concerns, with support from specialists as required.
* Collaborate across the firm’s multiple UK offices, leveraging a truly integrated approach that embraces real estate, corporate, employment, tax, planning, IP & media and disputes expertise.
* Be encouraged to foster client relationships and develop your own professional network, with strong support for career progression.
About You
* At least 4 years’ PQE for the Senior Associate level or 8 + years’ experience at the Principal Associate level, ideally with experience in the hospitality, drinks, and leisure sectors.
* A strong background in freehold/leasehold acquisitions, disposals and estate management.
* A proven record in advising on complex commercial real‑estate matters.
* A client‑focused approach with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
