Job Description:
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in an amazing brand new care home opening in September 2024 in Malvern, Worcestershire. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
A luxury care home will provide high-quality residential and nursing care, delivered compassionately by highly experienced staff.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As a Nurse, your key duties include:
* Monitoring standards of care delivered to residents
* Ensuring all Night staff contribute to the efficient running of the Home
* Interacting with residents to meet their needs and resolving issues
* Reporting ill-health among residents and requesting GP/Professional visits when needed
* Preparing, updating, and evaluating Resident Care Plans
* Providing general nursing work and personal care as appropriate
* Administering prescribed medication and maintaining records as per guidelines
* Supporting the Registered Manager with auditing Care Plan documentation
* Attending relevant staff meetings
* Advising the Registered Manager of incidents/accidents
* Ensuring clear handovers at every shift
* Completing supervisions and appraisals
* Assisting with responses to Provider audits
The following skills and experience are preferred:
* Ability to manage a small team
* Leading by example with a passion for elderly nursing care
* Experience in a care home environment is advantageous but not essential
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £23.00 per hour, up to £52,624 annually. Vacancies are available for both day and night shifts. Benefits include:
