Position: Non Food - Product Technologist (Cookshop & Tabletop)

As a Product Technologist at Sainsbury's, you'll ensure our products meet safety, legality, and quality standards, working with suppliers, product developers, and retail teams. Your focus will be on managing the technical aspects of the Dairy product area, supporting our Net Zero commitments, and enhancing product quality and sustainability. You will oversee technical performance, manage projects to improve quality, and ensure compliance with standards, all while maintaining the integrity of the Sainsbury's brand.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing product and technical plans for your assigned area
* Ensuring safety, legality, and quality of products
* Driving technical agenda and managing supplier compliance
* Implementing quality standards and managing projects to improve product quality
* Setting and monitoring supplier KPIs and technical plans

Who you are:

* Experienced professional with a background in kitchenware products within retail or manufacturing
* Knowledge of materials, standards, and legislation related to food contact products
* Skilled in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Experience analyzing and approving test reports
* Capable of making commercial decisions regarding testing and product quality
* Collaborative with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
* Willing to travel within the UK and offshore as required
