Reporting to the Financial Controller, the candidate will be responsible for Statutory Accounts and Technical accounting and intercompany reporting.

Description
Financial Accountant duties include;
* Lead on multi-entity Statutory accounts preparation.
* Intercompany reporting at month-end
* Hedge Accounting and reporting hedge requirements to the US Treasury team monthly
* Group accounts and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries
* Posting of tax entries
* Assessment of technical accounting measures as they arise and implementation of any new accounting standards
* Provide support to foreign subsidiaries with any technical accounting issues
* Liaise on audit matters and ensuring timely responses to all audit requests and limiting overruns
* Support CFO and Senior Manager: Financial Reporting in ad hoc projects/tasks, as required
Profile
The successful Financial Accountant should have:
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS.
* Strong attention to detail
* Be able to build strong relationships with key members of staff and other management accountants in the team
* Advanced in use of Microsoft Excel including vast knowledge of functions
* Deadline driven, whilst maintaining strong financial accounting integrity
* Will consider a first stepper from practice
Job Offer
* Competitive salary of approximately £50,000 to £55000 per annum.
