Job Title: Food and Beverage Hospitality Manager

Are you an experienced and hands-on hospitality professional ready to lead and grow a thriving department? A well-established, rural, family-run hospitality business is seeking a passionate Hospitality Manager to oversee and enhance all aspects of its hospitality operations.
About the Role
This is a pivotal position responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term development of hospitality services, including accommodation, guest experience, and staff performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence while developing new ideas and opportunities to elevate the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff Management: Recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of the hospitality team.
* Financial Oversight: Budgeting, sales forecasting, and income monitoring.
* Operations: Overseeing front desk, reservations, and housekeeping functions.
* Customer Experience: Ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across all touchpoints.
* Compliance: Working with internal teams to meet HR and Health & Safety standards.
* Inventory Control: Managing supplier relationships, orders, and minimising waste.
* Marketing Support: Collaborating with the marketing team on campaigns, social media, and promotional materials.
* Reporting: Monthly operational, staffing, and financial reports to senior leadership.
* Department Development: Leading the evolution of hospitality services with support and investment from the directors.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Proven experience in a hospitality management role
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on customer service
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* The ability to work collaboratively with both staff and leadership
* A willingness to work front of house as needed to support the team
Additional Information
* Accommodation: Temporary house provided for up to 3 months to support relocation
* Working Pattern: 60 hours per week during the peak season (1st Sept 1st Feb), and 37.5 hours per week for the rest of the year, averaging 45 hours per week annually
