Job Description Summary Are you passionate about trade compliance, operational excellence, and developing teams that deliver results the right way? Do you thrive in an environment where visibility, discipline, and continuous improvement drive every decision? We’re looking for a Customs Compliance Lead to oversee our Customs Compliance and Auditing functions, along with Carrier Performance Management, Import/Export operations, Compliance coordination, MRB (Material Review Board) and Receipt and Dispatch teams. Reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our global trade compliance strategy — ensuring every shipment, document, and process meets the highest standards of accuracy, legality, and efficiency. But more than that, you’ll coach your teams to think proactively, problem-solve at the source, and drive transformation through FLIGHTDECK principles. Job Description What You’ll Lead and Deliver Customs & Compliance Leadership – Oversee customs operations, auditing, and trade compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to global and local regulations. Team Coaching & Development – Mentor and guide import/export, compliance, and MRB teams, building capability, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement. Carrier Performance Management – Lead relationships with logistics partners, driving measurable performance improvements through clear metrics and feedback. Process Visibility & FLIGHTDECK Execution – Use FLIGHTDECK tools to monitor rate readiness, track compliance performance, and make problems visible to enable faster resolution. Audit Excellence – Ensure internal and external audits are executed flawlessly, with data integrity, transparency, and continuous corrective action. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Flow Cell Leaders, Operations, and Supply Chain functions to ensure materials flow seamlessly, compliantly, and on time. Standard Work & Process Improvement – Define, refine, and enforce standard work processes to drive consistency, reduce errors, and sustain operational discipline. Root Cause & Corrective Action Leadership – Lead your teams to identify and resolve the root causes of compliance or documentation issues, preventing reoccurrence. What You Bring Proven Experience – Strong background in customs compliance, import/export operations, or trade management, ideally within manufacturing or global logistics environments. Leadership Through Coaching – A leader who develops people by example — fostering curiosity, accountability, and problem-solving. Continuous Improvement Mindset – Familiar with Lean or FLIGHTDECK principles, with a track record of using data to identify improvement opportunities and deliver sustainable change. Regulatory Expertise – In-depth knowledge of customs procedures, trade regulations, and international shipping documentation. Analytical & Detail-Oriented – Skilled at interpreting data, managing audits, and ensuring accuracy in every aspect of compliance. Collaborative Communicator – Excellent at partnering across departments, influencing outcomes, and communicating with clarity and credibility. Why Join Us This is a chance to lead a high-impact function that directly shapes the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of our global supply chain. You’ll join a team that believes in visibility, accountability, and empowerment — where leaders coach rather than command, and every improvement makes a real difference. If you’re ready to take ownership, coach others to excellence, and drive transformation in one of the most vital parts of our business, we’d love to hear from you.
