Our global payments client is hiring a Principal DevOps Engineer to build and own the delivery platforms behind a large‑scale, mission‑critical payments system.
This is a hands‑on, product‑led engineering role. Not consulting, not Kubernetes, and not cloud‑only.
You will be from a software engineering background with strong fundamentals (code quality, design patterns, testing), not purely ops profiles.
Key technical:
* Migrating to GitHub Enterprise / GitHub Actions — CI/CD expertise essential
* Core stack: Terraform + Ansible, HashiCorp Vault, Cloudsmith, Docker / Docker Compose, Cloudflare
* Polyglot estate — primarily .NET and Java
* Delivery to both cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-premise Linux environments
* No Kubernetes — Docker/Compose is the container sweet spot
