About the role: The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday. As the school finance assistant, you will be part of a close-knit team that works hard to ensure the smooth running of financial services across the school. The Senior Bursars duties can include: Strategically lead and manage all business aspects for Prospect School. You will be an integral part of the senior leadership team working closely with governors and staff to ensure financial compliance whilst delivering the school's long-term vision and development plans in a safe and welcoming environment. The post holder will be accountable for operating, maintaining and developing systems, processes and procedures relating to finance; administration; HR; premises; ICT; catering provision; business development and targeted income generation. The ideal applicant will have: To allocate college bursaries in line with school and funding body guidelines to ensure compliance To maintain appropriate records in line with audit requirements To provide regular reports to your manager To ensure there is a robust system in place for administering the college bursaries To process bursary applications in a timely efficient manner High level of communication skills to work with a diverse cohort of students Proficient in Microsoft Office, and learning database systems Accuracy and attention to detail Experience in understanding and delivering bursary support High level of administration and organisational skills Why choose Engage Education?
