Role Overview
The DDAT department seeks an experienced and motivated Digital Commissioning Manager to manage the digital commissioning team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created, progressive team with ambitious plans. The role is classified as Grade 15, £68,657 - £75,954 (as of April 2024 pay band figures). Key Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire, and motivate the digital commissioning team to drive change and innovation, supporting excellence across the service.
* Develop and deliver the DDAT strategy and team plan.
* Manage proactive lifecycle management of DDAT capabilities including applications, hosting, storage, security, and networks, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
* Oversee effective change and release management processes.
* Ensure security and compliance processes are effectively managed.
* Manage the delivery of a new commoditized approach to DDAT provision, integrating the best commercial options with in-house capabilities.
* Coordinate the forward plan for DDAT commissioning and engage with the wider service team, including the User Experience Manager, for decision-making.
* Ensure seamless integration of all DDAT service functions, internal and external, providing secure and resilient services to users.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of digital trends, tools, and platforms, especially AI, with a focus on improving service experience and operational efficiencies. Experience in commissioning digital products and services, working with stakeholders up to director level in complex organizations, and leading, inspiring, and developing teams is essential.
