Then look no further Pax8 are offering an amazing opportunity to join our Support Services Team as aSystems Administrator in one of our UK offices (Farnborough | Bristol | Derby)
What you will do as a Systems Administrator at Pax8:
* You will be an integral part of the team providing vital support solutions to bespoke cloud solutions
* Manage Your Own Ticket Queue: Take ownership of your tickets, troubleshoot issues across various partner cloud solutions, and ensure efficient resolution.
* Collaborate and Problem-Solve: Work collaboratively and logically to address and solve problems, escalating tickets to the appropriate line when necessary.
* Provide Top-Notch Customer Service: Deliver exceptional support and service to our clients, ensuring their cloud solutions run smoothly.
* Handle Multiple Tasks: Juggle multiple responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high level of service under pressure.
Lets look at your day to day as a Systems Administrator:
* Incident management, responding to all types of tickets within the required SLA
* Acknowledge and remediate alerts that come through to the ticket system
* Handling customer phone calls
* Dealing with escalations from other teams
* Monitoring backup issues
* Completing server patching, ensuring automated processes are working and issues fixed where needed
* Assisting other teams around the Partner services function
* Keep on top of personal administration, ticket reviews, internal meetings and timesheets
* Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, our internal learning platform, taking part in Pax8 L&D programmes, receiving peer or manager coaching, taking on stretch projects or on the job training.
You'll be the ideal Systems Administrator for us if you have:
* Significant experience with Windows and/or Linux
* Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
* Technical knowledge of Azure & AWS infrastructure, including RDS, EC2, ECS, AVD, SQL
* Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, server provisioning, maintenance
* Excellent analytical skills & problem-solving skills combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
* Solid understanding of access management, administration, and application support
* Solid understanding of modern authentication protocols and cyber security principals
* Experience using help desk software and remote support tools preferred

* Salary: £29,000 - £36,000 per year

Designated Office & Working pattern:
* Tech set up to support great home and in-office working
* Designated Office: Farnborough | Bristol | Derby UK
* Days: Monday to Friday
* Hours: Shift patterns between 8am – 6pm
* 8am – 4:30pm
* 9:30am – 6pm
* On Call:
* 1 week of on call - 1 in 4 rotation
* Friday morning to Friday morning
* Hybrid: 3 days per week in office/2 working from home
