Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for conducting surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
* Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, adhering to approved procedures and specifications
* Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and draft plans for new designs
* Prepare complex MOVA designs and datasets
* Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
* Perform MOVA validations for complex junctions and roundabouts
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and are looking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing new perspectives to existing traffic signal design solutions.
Key Requirements:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN
* Microsoft Office skills
* Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller specifications
* Experience with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
* Knowledge of LinSig 3
* Full UK driving license
