As a Microsoft Partner and Cyber Essentials PLUS Certification Body, we deliver secure, modern IT solutions that keep our clients connected, protected, and productive.
We’re looking for a Service Desk Engineer who’s ready to step up and advance their IT career — someone with strong Microsoft 365, Server, and endpoint Windows support skills who enjoys solving problems, helping users, and delivering an excellent support experience. You’ll join a team supporting a wide range of Scottish businesses using Microsoft technologies.
What You’ll Do
• Provide responsive technical support via phone, remote tools, and client site visits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, and Windows 11 endpoints.
• Manage users, groups, and permissions in Microsoft Entra ID and the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
• Support and configure MDM and RMM platforms for endpoint and device management.
• Perform Microsoft Server administration and troubleshooting, including user management, file shares, permissions, updates, and system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues relating to endpoint configuration, updates, security policies, and device connectivity.
• Work confidently with virtual servers, networking, and firewall configurations as part of client environments.
• Assist with user onboarding, email security, and documentation of client systems.
• Escalate complex issues when required and contribute to continual service improvements.
What You’ll Bring
• Proven experience in an IT support or Managed Service Provider environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Windows 11.
• Strong skills in endpoint Windows support, user administration, policies and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing endpoints using MDM and RMM platforms.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Server administration, virtualisation, networking, and firewall principles.
• Confident communicator with excellent telephone and written communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly and professionally.
• A proactive, organised approach to managing tickets and meeting SLAs.
• A full UK driving licence and the unrestricted right to work in the UK (essential).
The role involves ongoing professional development through self-paced Microsoft learning, with support to gain and maintain relevant Microsoft certifications.
