Our client is seeking a highly motivated HR Specialist to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about HR systems, data analysis, and process improvement.
Initially based full-time at their Windsor office (for the first 3 months), the role offers hybrid flexibility thereafter.
? About the Role:
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR projects and systems, particularly Workday, and a flair for data. You’ll spend the majority of your time driving forward key HR initiatives, with 1 day per week dedicated to HRIS support.
You will act as the subject matter expert on Workday, providing support to HR users, generating insightful reports, and ensuring data integrity.
? Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and ensure accuracy of data in the Workday HRIS
* Support HR with changes to employment contracts and ensure relevant teams are updated
* Troubleshoot database issues within Workday
* Track and report on employee annual leave balances
* Support onboarding processes: coordinate inductions and deliver HR presentations
* Maintain and distribute Starters & Leavers reports
* Produce monthly volunteering/social value reports for senior HR leadership
* Assist with LinkedIn Learning platform management, reporting, and employee training assignments
* Improve and maintain HR documents, templates, and presentations
* Provide general HR administrative support and team cover as needed
* Strong Workday HRIS experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR or HRIS, including data management and reporting
* Advanced Excel skills and a passion for people analytics
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* High attention to detail and professional presentation standards
