About us
Sutton has a population of approximately 200,000 residents who are registered with 21 practices. Currently, there are 4 Primary Care Networks PCNs: Carshalton, Cheam & South Sutton, Central Sutton, and Wallington PCN. Each PCN serves a population of approximately 50,000 patients. PCNs are an essential part of the NHS long‑term plan. They bring general practices together to work at a larger scale, which has been a policy priority for several years. This is aimed at improving the ability of practices to recruit and retain staff, manage financial and estate pressures, provide a broader range of services to patients, and integrate more efficiently with the comprehensive health and care system.
