SEN Teacher needed – Temp to Perm Opportunity in Preston
Teaching Personnel are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to join our partner schools across Preston. The roles are fantastic temp-to-perm opportunities, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact on pupils’ lives while securing a long-term role.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASC, SEMH, MLD, and SLD.
* Support pupils in Primary, Secondary, and specialist SEN settings.
* Work closely with support staff and school leaders to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet individual EHCP targets.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential – training and support provided).
* Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
* A positive, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
