Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site in Moray. This is a key role within the engineering team, supporting production through effective maintenance, fault-finding, and continuous improvement activities. You will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and contributing to ongoing improvements across the site. The Role: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of FMCG manufacturing and packaging equipment. Electrical fault-finding on motors, sensors, drives, control panels, and automation systems. Support mechanical maintenance including bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Diagnose faults quickly to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency Work with PLCs (fault finding, I/O checks - no programming required). Ensure all work complies with health & safety, food safety, and engineering standards Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation. Support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and reliability initiatives. Liaise with production teams to prioritise breakdowns and maintenance activities. About You: Electrical bias with with current 18th edition. Time servred with engineering qualification. Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer in an FMCG or manufacturing environment. Experience with PLC-controlled machinery (fault finding). Strong understanding of preventative maintenance systems. Mechanical maintenance experience alongside electrical. Experience with conveyors, packaging machinery, or high-speed production lines. Knowledge of food manufacturing standards and hygiene practices. Continuous improvement or reliability-focused mindset.
