Chief of Staff to UHNWI

Location: Richmond, 5 days at the household
Our client, a UHNWI, is seeking a well-versed, highly organized Chief of Staff to oversee the daily operations of their household. Based at their beautiful new home near Richmond Park, you will build a strong rapport with the family and manage their London home as well as their international properties. The role requires someone who is proactive, experienced in household management, and capable of handling diverse responsibilities.
Main responsibilities:
* Researching and arranging family holidays, flights (including private jets), villas, and passports
* Traveling ahead of trips to ensure homes are prepared for arrival
* Managing multiple properties in London, Scotland, and Sweden
* Handling matters related to children, including school, nanny, personal plans, and holidays (pickups, dental appointments, laundry)
* Setting up schedules for staff, nannies, and contractors
* Managing house renovations and liaising with external contractors
* Supporting and managing house staff, including training and oversight
* Recruiting and onboarding new staff such as senior housekeepers, chefs, gardeners, and pool cleaners
* Managing daily diaries and inboxes to ensure smooth operations
* Coordinating with the husband's PA to keep schedules aligned
* Overseeing wardrobe management, packing, and unpacking
* Handling administrative tasks such as returns, invoicing, budgets, and financial administration
* Performing any other duties relevant to the role
The Person:
* Experience in private PA and household management
* Willingness to travel to properties as needed
* Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
* Calm, professional, and capable of working independently in a household environment
* Excellent organizational skills
* Leadership skills to manage small teams and collaborate effectively
* Confident in dealing with a broad range of people
* Discreet, maintaining confidentiality at all times
* Trustworthy with the family's privacy and affairs
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, resolve conflicts, and find solutions
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Flexible and proactive approach
