What you need to know

Hours: 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00.

Contract type: Permanent.

Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If you’re applying for a part‑time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro‑ratio basis. The hourly rate is £17.57 per hour.

Location:

* Commonwealth House. 38 Albion street, Glasgow G1 1LH with excellent public transport links and payable parking nearby.


What you’ll do

As a Admin Officer, you’ll be a part of an established Adminteam, reporting to the Snr Admin Officer. You’ll play an essential role in managing clerical support across your service area, contributing to corporate-wide strategic objectives, supporting business improvement and providing a wide range of essential admin support to the Service Operation teams that supports the running of the Service Areas as well as ensuring processes are efficient and effective.

* Make real time service decisions in response to Operational issues in line with local procedures and establish guidelines
* Consolidate and report various sources of relevant information to inform others; interpret data and made recommendations for action to Management
* Motivate and supervise a team, deploying resources and responding to customer needs
* Allocate duties and responsibility within the team ensuring that all work is concluded to the required standards and timescales
* Carry out a wide range of administrative services to support the Snr Admin Officer, Service Areas, Colleagues and Business Partners.
