Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer due to increased growth within the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
Responsible for reactive & planned maintenance across all areas of engineering - manufacturing, production, site services, infrastructure & plant equipment
Carry out PPM schedule effectively and efficiently
Involved with site project work - installations & upgrades to machinery
Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs
Dealing with high-speed food production, processing & packaging machinery, automation & controls
PLC - electrical fault finding
Worked on motors, servo drives, sensors, inverters, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, compressors
Continuous improvements - suggesting new things, sharing ideas
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
Be a multi-skilled engineer - ideally with an electrical biased
Must have worked in a food / FMCG manufacturing environment that is fast paced
Working knowledge of a CMMS system
Be a team player, want proactive individuals
Qualified to HNC level
PLC - electrical fault finding
Able to fault find both electrically & mechanically
Comfortable working at heights and in hot conditions sometimes
Happy working in a time-sensitive busy environment
Have experience with continuous improvements & lean manufacturing
Any qualifications in food hygiene, safety etc. beneficial
