Ultrafan Demonstrator Programme Manager
Full time Derby/Hybrid (3 days a week on site)

We are looking for a Programme Manager to join the UltraFan Demonstrator Project team in Derby, supporting the growth and development of the UltraFan Demonstrator and Group R&T Technology portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Support the Programme Executive and Work Package Owners to deliver the UltraFan Small Demonstrator Programme.
* Define, establish and govern the appropriate component Design and Make plans.
* Define and deliver the five‑year plan (5YP) through a rolling wave approach, ensuring essential Gross to Net Affordability is forecasted, committed and executed.
* Identify and resolve resource ‘pinch points’ and support the Work Package Owners in building a high‑performing team.
* Define, deliver and maintain the Supply Chain and Procurement Strategy for the assigned Work Packages.
* Define, deliver and maintain the Programme data and Operating model for the UltraFan30 Demonstrator.
Qualifications
* Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
* Ideally a member of a professional body or working to achieve an appropriate level of qualification (region‑specific).
* At least 5 years’ experience in project management or equivalent industry experience.
* Experience of leading multi‑functional teams would be an advantage.
* Manage professional employees and/or supervisors, and be accountable for the performance and results of a team within your area of specialty.
* Adapt plans and priorities for your area to set the direction for your team with decisions and problem‑solving guided by policies, procedures and the plan of your area.
* Operate within defined standards and policies to address resource and operational challenges.
* Lead others in a technical area with good knowledge of the discipline managed.
* Operate autonomously, receiving guidance from a manager when the impact is broader, outside your team, or the subject matter expert is more complex.
* Demonstrate and operate with a bountiful mindset, dealing with ambiguity and developing efficient and effective ways of working.
