Corporate Services Group / University Sport & Exercise

Part-time: 10 hours per week

Fixed term: for 33 weeks (1st Sept 2026 – 18th April 2027)

We're providing University of Edinburgh students with exciting opportunities across Physical Preparation, Operations, Active Wellbeing, Gym Instructing, Outdoor Activities, Creative Content, Digital Design, Event Management and more. Whether you're keen to lead, develop new skills or play a supporting role, this programme is designed to help you grow, gain valuable industry experience and make a meaningful difference to student sport and wellbeing.

Candidates must understand the importance of team culture and demonstrate how their contribution will make a positive impact.

The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality sport and wellbeing services across the University of Edinburgh - ensuring every participant and attendee has an outstanding experience.

Working 2 shifts per week, you will share responsibility with a team of Sports Assistants for providing a safe, clean and pleasant environment for members, guests and colleagues.

Candidates will be based at 1 of 3 sites for their 10 hours with the opportunity to explore other areas of the business. Site allocations will be based on candidate's skills, availability and interests to complement each facility's needs (candidates interested in St Leonard's Land must be competent swimmers).
