Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a weekend Delivery Driver working every Saturday and potentially Sundays too. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the job.
Duties
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
* Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
Experience
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and customers.
