About the role:
The Health Industries team within M&A Operations is fast-growing and market leading team, working on a wide range of client engagements. The M&A deals we work on range in size from £50m to over £5bn and our clients include the most well-known brands and business in the world. We often work on these high-profile deals with world's best known Private Equity Houses, Pharma & Life Sciences Corporates and Private Healthcare Providers. Our work spans across the deal cycle, from pre-deal diligence, synergy development and separation planning through Day 1 and into implementation support.
We comprise both career-consultants and subject matter experts from industry and actively seek diversity of experience in our new team members.
What your days will look like:
Managers lead either smaller projects or individual workstreams within larger programmes. You will be expected to take a leading role on engagements and manage project team members, whilst contributing to business development efforts in a manner appropriate to your project responsibilities.
You will tailor our service offering and project approach based on client needs and deal requirements.
Typical projects include:
* Pre-deal value creation advisory / how can transformation and divestment generate greater shareholder return
* Buy and sell side operational due diligence
* Synergy development and review
* Carve out and divestment support
* Mergers & Acquisitions Integration
* Post-acquisition performance improvement
This role is for you if:
* Held an operational role or a transformational role in a corporate, or have been involved in the operational side of private equity, or have operational management experience gained within a Pharmaceutical or Healthcare environment. Either from within industry or as a consultant
* Are able to think strategically and connect overall objectives to cross functional impacts
* Have a value creation mindset and an ability to articulate critical value preservation and creation actions required in order to execute a deal
* Have experience as a project lead and an ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders to execute complex programmes
* Financially and operationally astute, with strong analytical capability (or willingness to develop skills) in tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, or Tableau, and able to deliver high-quality outputs under time pressure.
