Join to apply for the Support Worker role at CrossReach in Alloa. You will be part of a team that supports individuals with mental health needs to live life on their own terms, in residential and day care settings.
You’ll join a team that values compassion, dignity and choice. Your role will be to help people build routines, explore interests and stay connected to their communities, including supporting attendance at worship, maintaining independence, and enjoying everyday activities.
What You’ll Do
* Provide person-centred care in residential and day care settings
* Help create and follow individual care plans
* Support daily routines and encourage independence
* Administer medication under supervision
* Facilitate hobbies, interests and community involvement
* Welcome families and visitors
* Respect and support Christian worship and values
* Take part in team meetings, training and supervision
About You
You’re someone who brings warmth, patience and reliability to every interaction. You care about people and want to help them live well. You don’t need previous experience in social care — we’ll support you to gain your SVQ in Health and Social Care if you don’t already have it. What matters most is your willingness to learn and your commitment to making a difference.
What You’ll Need
* A genuine interest in supporting people with mental health needs
* Basic computer skills
* Membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC (or willingness to register)
* A commitment to uphold our Christian ethos
