We are looking for a motivated and supportive KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a committed team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils in Key Stage 2 and support their learning, confidence, and personal development during a key stage in their education. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
* Provide one-to-one and small group support in reading, writing, and maths
* Support pupils’ academic progress, behaviour, and social development
* Help to prepare classroom resources, displays, and activities
* Supervise pupils during breaktimes and lunchtime, as required
* Support the wider school community through involvement in events, trips, and activities
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children in Key Stage 2
* A calm, encouraging, and positive approach
* Confidence in supporting English and maths at KS2 level
* Good communication and interpersonal skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
* The ability to work well within a team and use initiative when needed
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable
